About Pineways
Situated in a beautiful rural setting near Llangadog, Carmarthenshire, Pineways specialises in bespoke wood turning for customers requiring that little bit extra in quality.
Since it's formation by Micky Simpson in 1983, originally in the Hampshire village of Sway in the New Forest, the company relocated in 1997 to a purpose-built factory in it's present location.
Over the years Pineways has achieved international acclaim and an expanding customer portfolio. The family run business, offers both a comprehensive selection of off the shelf knobs and spindles and the ability to produce one off turnings to customer specification.
Pineways has a wealth of wood turning experience and can offer advice at all stages from the initial design right through to production. Over the years we have amassed a wealth of experience in selection of wood and cut, most appropriate to the customer's requirements, ensuring a perfect finished product.
Pineways has its own custom tooling engineering department to service the production of specialist tooling to meet customer needs. As a result our customers benefit in specialist production, providing time savings and ensuring outstanding quality at a competitive price.
Pineways is able to produce turnings up to 400mm in diameter and up to 3.5m length, Face plate work 700mm, barley twisting and fluting.
